LIFELINE
Lifeline is a Personal Response System for people who need a little extra help to maintain their independence at home.
A simple press of the Personal Help Button activates a small in-home unit that automatically dials the Lifeline response Center.
It can be used anytime, day or night.
If you say you need assistance, the monitor will send appropriate help. It may mean sending an ambulance. It may mean calling the fire department or the police if you hear a suspicious noise. It may simply mean calling your next-door neighbor who can come over to check on you.
The help button is worn either around the neck as a necklace or as a bracelet around the wrist. It is small and unobtrusive and is completely waterproof. It is to be worn 24 hours a day; no need to remove it before bathing.
Lifeline serves Altus and the surrounding communities within a 70-mile radius.
